"Desiree's baby" by Kate Cophin

Desiree's Baby is is the short story about the baby who adopted by Monsieur and Madame Valmonde, French family who lived in Louisiana America. When Desiree grown up, she married with another French guy, Armand. they married and have a child, but the child has a different skin, the child has a black skin, not too black, one quarter African skin.

We can see on this story there is a space and time on this story. This story can make the reader in to the story. We can feel it when we read this story slow and understand the meaning of the story. For example, people think this story take a place in France, but in reality, this story take a place in America, Texas and Louisiana. It means the story made reader getting inside to the story from the first paragraph.

The story made the reader flew in the time on this story. The story made a reader think and imagine about the true happening based on the story.
